You can have the breaking news section on your site. Please follow the following steps to configure breaking news section as follows:

• Go to Appearance>Customize

• Go to Header Settings>breaking news settings

• Enter the Breaking News Text on the given text-box.
• Select the desired Breaking News Category from the drop-down box
• Select the Breaking News Width either container or full-width
• Click on Publish.
